Meeting Minutes 14/03/2018

We don’t have any news about the hoodies (Silke isn’t here). We need to count them to make sure that they are all there, Marks has a list we can use.

There’s a Conseil d’Education meeting tomorrow, we need to send our questions today. If you have any, put them in the comments of the FB group.

Katarina talked to the newspaper. They were ‘counting’ on our money, but we can’t buy an ad without assurances on the sales time. Vidar will be invited to the next meeting so that we can talk to him.

Paddy’s Night 16+:

  • Be there at 10, sober.
  • We need to make the shifts and see who’s coming to help out.
  • There were complaints about the price, but it’s freebeer so it is justified.

There was a meeting with the inspectors, we talked about ‘stuff’ (like the school environment, what could be improved).

Euronight:

  • The event is up on FB
  • Today we’ll finish the student contracts
  • Helsinki has no tickets, if they really want one they can have one
  • Tickets sales start next week, first two days are 7th year only
  • Sales will be done by Liza and Marks and the treasurers, we’ll need to make a list of everyone that’s coming
  • We’ll order 900 wristbands for students and 100 for staff, who might also get fanny packs
  • Having a discount for PC members is an idea, and/or giving them staff tickets
  • Melusina is taking care of the food stand, we need to organise the ambulance and photo booth
  • We’ll ask CoSup for a bank transfer (Silke and Eskil, how much money do we have? (Lux 2 has some too))

The next PC dinner will be on Sunday the 18th at Maybe Not Bob’s, I’ll make a poll to see who will be coming.

LuxFactor:

  • The date is the 13th of April
  • We’ll sell food at the interval
  • Our poster program isn’t working, but we’ll get them up
  • Sara is organising the roles

We’ll change our FaceBook profile to a page.

  • Pros: we can see a ton of info about who’s seeing our posts, FB won’t shut us down, we can buy ads, we can co-host events.

  • Cons: We’ll get less ‘organic’ views, once we start paying it’ll be hard to stop.

Next year, we could have a PR member.
