Meeting minutes 09/01/2020

Putseys is leaving after this year, we would like to do something nice for her.

Members from 5th & 6th years should be getting more responsibilities to be able to confidently take up the torch next year.

There is an upcoming Conseil d’Administration meeting in 2 weeks.

The School hoodies have been paid for and ordered, we should be able to start giving them out after the prebacs (which will make it the fastest ever hoodie sale!).

LuxFactor:

  • We are going to open up the sign-up form.
  • We’ll have to create posters for LuxFactor.
  • We’ll need a nurse in case of emergency.
  • Photographer for LuxFactor
  • There could be a Merite Jeunesse stand.

Disco:
Date: 7th, 13th?

Prom:
March? Saturday?
Could be at Lux2, we can still look for other venues

Euronight:

  • Need a design for wristbands, posters etc.
  • Also need to order the wristbands themselves, (colours for different schools?)
  • Theme: 20s
  • Get a photobooth
  • Need to coordinate transport
  • DJ competition
  • Breakfast after?

CoSup:

The newspaper logo is based on the black power logo and the “13 Stars” name could be used interchangeably with Confederate flag or the KKK, we are trying to get them to change it.
They also want to take over our newspaper, we’re not letting them.

We still have 200 water bottles from last year, we’ll announce a new sale in the class rep meeting, non 7th years can sell them during prebacs (in 2 weeks).

We have ~7000€ so we should be able to finance new sofas for the S6-S7 room.
